Dilution System for Aerosols DIL 550 (TOPAS GmbH)

The dilution system is designed to accurately dilute aerosols to produce a defined particle concentration and carry out certain measuring tasks.

The main application of the dilution system DIL 550 is in the verification of test aerosols for testing clean rooms. By using the dilution system DIL 554 upstream of a particle counter, e.g. LAP 340, a dilution factor of up to 100 can be achieved. Thereby particle concentrations of >106 Particles per cf (1 cf = 28.3 l) can be reduced to 104 cf–1. This will put the particle concentration well within the range of standard particle counters.

Dilution System for Aerosols DIL 554 (TOPAS GmbH)

The dilution system is designed to accurately dilute aerosols to produce a defined particle concentration and carry out certain measuring tasks.

The main application of the dilution system DIL 550 is in the verification of test aerosols for testing clean rooms. Compared to the DIL 550 the innovative features are an easy-to-clean compact stainless steel housing and a mobil use by battery-operation (optional also wall power supply).

 Dekati Thermodenuder (Dekati Ltd.)

The instrumentmakes detailed studies of soot particles possible by removing volatiles from automotive exhaust. Removal of the volatiles eliminates unwanted sample transformations. The high flow rate of the instrument makes it an ideal tool for use with ELPI™ (Electrical Low Pressure Impactor) and DMM (Dekati Mass Monitor).

DDU Diffusion Dryer DDU 570 (TOPAS GmbH)

The diffusion dryer consists of an Acrylic tube filled with silica gel with 2 caps on its ends and tube connectors. The aerosol streams through 3 screen pipes surrounded by dry silica gel which serves as drying agent.

Because the aerosol does not get into contact with the drying agent there is nearly no loss of particle material.

NEUTRALIZERS

Electrostatic Aerosol Neutralizer EAN 581 (TOPAS GmbH)

The electrostatic aerosol neutralizer conditions the charge distribution on test dusts as well as other aerosols for example when evaluating separation techniques such as cyclones, filter s or impactors. Charge equilibrium can be controlled by mixing positive and negative ions in a precise manner.

Controllable generation of ions with separate adjustment of both positive and negative ion sources are provided. No radioactive source is required. It's easy to integrate into existing filter test systems and othe test apparatus.

SAMPLERS
Sample Switching Unit SYS 520 (TOPAS GmbH)

The Laser Aerosol Particle Size Spectrometer series LAP can optionally measure two different samples by using the Sample Switching Unit SYS 520. The instrument was especially developed for this application and realizes a quick changing between sample flow I, a flushing routine (HEPA-filter) and sample flow II.
Controlling the switching unit is only possible with the aerosol spectrometers series LAP with sample switching option. If you do not have such a LAP 320/U or LAP 321, Topas can install the needed control output in your instrument.

Sampling System for Pressure Lines SYS 525 (TOPAS GmbH)

The SYS 525 is designed to take a representative sample from sources with mean pressures at up to 8 bar. It effectively decouples the pressure from the measuring point and meassuring instrument with minimal change to the aerosol properties.

Rectangular Sampling Probe SYS 529 (TOPAS GmbH)

The  sample probes have a rectangular inlet which is gradually reduced to a circular tube connector.

The design of the probe is based on the ISO CD 14644, part 3 which defines a maximum width to height ratio of 1:6.
The manufacturing process ensures that all internal surfaces are polished to avoid material deposits and  their potential to create false test results.
