Dekati

Dekati’s instrumentation is used for both combustion and non-combustion vehicle emission measurements from the following sources

Set ups include exhaust sample conditioning and particle detection.  Real-time measurements are calculated, providing the measurement of particle mass concentration and size distribution.

Particle Instrument

The Kanomax Aerosol Particle Mass Analyzer (APM) has been used extensively for investigations into the fractal nature of soot.

When used in tandem with a particle size mobility analyzer, the effective density of soot particles can be determined.

Visit for more detailed information on the APM.

Pegasor.

Pegasor’s simple sensor can directly measure raw, hot engine tailpipe emissions without the need for dilution or conditioning.

The resulting measurement is expressed as mass concentration and/or number concentration. Pegasor’s sensor technology is used more specifically in the following applications:

Particle Instrument

Topas’ instruments are used in the measurement of crankcase blow-by emissions.

In addition, their instrumentation is used to test the performance of oil mist separators both within a vehicle and during separator product development. By detecting the oil content in blow-by gases, great improvements in engine efficiencies have been gained.
